These show the boat in
the final stages of construction in my back garden, interior shots, and
photos of the lift out involving a 75 tonne crane to a low loader in
front of my house. It shows that where there is a will there is a way!

Most home built Prouts were built from kits. Mine wasn't. I had bare untrimmed mouldings. The hull and deck were two seperate mouldings and I didn't lift the deck into place until I had installed the tanks, floors, bulkheads and major interior mouldings for heads, seats, and cupboards. All done with scaffolding and chain blocks. I have other photos of the early days which may be interesting too but this gives enough for a start! The shot of her afloat is in the Isles of Scilly in 2004. BoatMike - Owner of Peregrine
