Hi, my wife and I are planning on buying a Prout 50 Quasar in the next few months. I have been following the market for about two years and have a very good idea of reasonable asking prices. However, it is much harder to find out what a particular boat actually sold for. I did find out that "King's Ransom" sold for around US$240,000 which was $60,000 less than the last asking price. Does anyone know what any of other boats sold in the last last year or so went for? I would be especially interested if anyone knows what "Poste Haste" sold for (or who the selling broker was) since it is most comparable to one we are looking at now.

We bought our Quasar 50 in April 2015 for about 13 percent less than asking price.

I am close to buying a 1996 Quasar and would like to know the core material under the waterline.
