Looking for information on Prout 37 and/or Prout 37 elite

We are looking to buy a Prout 37, 38 or 39 for cruising in the next couple of years. My husband is 6' tall, and we heard that he won't be able to stand up in the saloon area of the Prout. We have also heard that the Prout has really bad bridgedeck slamming. Any experince or comments in reply to this would be welcome, as we are 30 year monohull people, and are relativley new to Catamarans

My Snowgoose Elite has just over 6' of headroom in the salon. Much more in the pontoons.
