Re: Twin drives for a snow goose elite
Hi, We have an Elite an experienced a similar problem. The single 30hp diesel & Sonic leg has been replaced by 2 X 27hp 3 cylinder Yanmar saildrives. I have feathering props fitted which, although expensive, do reduce drag when sailing. The other advantage is manouerability, the props are as eff...

Re: Coppercoat Antifouling
We applied Coppercoat to our 1989 Elite this summer. The hull was gritblasted to remove heaven knows how many layers of antifoul & previous non branded copper antifoul. I nearly had a heart attack when I saw how many pinhole & larger faults in the gel coat the shot blasting exposed, these we...

Re: Cockpit door
Yes I still have the 2 polycarbonate panels to make the door from. They were given to me but they do not fit me 37 Elite. Give me a call on 01702 587319 to discuss, I live in Southend Essex.

Cockpit door
Hi,
I have an acrylic door which is shaped to fit a Prout 34 I believe. It was given to me for my Elite 37 but it is about 2 to 3 inches too narrow. I live near Southend Essex UK, if you can use this please contact me through this forum.
Compliments of the season to one & all.

Joint association with Heavenly Twins
I am not in favour of a joint association with Heavenly Twins or any other Cat/Multihull for that matter. There are many magazines that cater for Multihulls in general. Prout OA should remain just that, for Prout owners/enthusiasts past, present & future. I have also 'kept my head down' with reg...

Sonic leg
It may be worth trying a wanted advert on the UK site Boats & Outboards. Just Google it. Its free to advertise & you never know what people have in their garage. I sold a perfectly good Sonic leg a few years ago when I upgraded to 2 diesels with saildrives. I practically gave the leg away as...
