I have heard that the racing boat had no finished interior boat also. So it was real light and had bad center of gravity. I don't think capsizing is a very big issues with Prouts.

This seems like a good insulating product. I haven't used it yet, but plan to at least try a little out. On my Snowgoose Elite the lifting location is just like for Chris' boat. Just forward and aft of the keel. If your boat doesn't have them, I would suggest marking the best location forward and aft. You can use something like a small racing stripe, etc.

Does anyone know the outside diameter of the rear rail and also the rails that are at the rear of the cockpit?
