My sillette sonic drive is due for a oil change. Unfortunately the drain plug with a hex 1/4 drive has rounded and I cannot get it out. I am thinking of ways of draining the oil . I am the new owner of a prout snowgoose 37. While tidying up for winter I noticed that the water tanks were still about 1/3 full. There is a copper pipe poking down into each tank with a filter on the end. However it only goes in so far and leaves a large residual volume of water in the tank. I can ...

There was an "Alley cat" which was a Snowgoose 34 which came second in class in the RTIR in 1998, beating a number of longer french cats.

Thank you davy. Unfortunately my impellor pump is very difficult to access but I agree that it needs checking every year.

I was wondering if anyone had any tips for replacing the impellor on a yanmar3gm. On the snowgoose 37 it is hard up against the bulkhead and seems very difficult to access.Any ideas gratefully received.
