Sorry to say that I am not familiar with the Yanmar 3gm. I have a Kubota in which the impeller is aft of the engine in a VERY accessible place, just 6 little bolts. As these impellers should be changed every year I suggest you find an easy way to get to it. I left mine for 3 years and when I got in ...

Hi Curt,
I too have a Snowgoose elite. The rudders on my cat also point outside a little. I'm not sure if this is standard or not however I have never had a problem with it. Please let me know if you find the correct answer.
